All ballasts created equal?

Picture
Not all HID is the same. Just because it functions like HID doesn't mean that all HID kits are made the same. So many people try to find good brands, when in reality anyone can make their own brand. We will show you what to look for in a ballast and bulb to distinguish if its a good quality ballast of bulb. We will show you what the HID sellers don't want you to see. Find out what ballast manufacturers are high quality.

HID Cancelers (Cancellers )

Picture
So many HID Cancelers, can-bus fixers, how do you know what is right for your car? What do these cancelers do?
We show you the internals of some of these cancelers and let you know what these exactly do to let you decide if that is something you need. If we have tested it on a vehicle without any issues we will display that to help you take the guess work out of it.

Do I need a relay harness?

Picture
Is a relay harness really needed with my HID kit? or is this some type of sales pitch to buy more?
It is a precautionary purchase that is well worth it. Not all kits need it. Most slim kits do need it. But most kits that use DSP ACIS technology do not need it. Most kits with this technology are about $200 and work for years and years with no issues. Other kits that are under $100 more then likely will need a relay harness. Either way it wont hurt to have one.

Slim ballast better?

Picture
They are better for installation, but if not properly mounted to allow to cool they will burn up faster since all the components are packed into a small case, the heat dissipation is not at good. Best results if getting a slim ballast is to mount it where at least one side is facing the air, do not cram the ballast in-between two places.
